Recently, the National Academies Press (NAP) released a report authored by Andrew Robertson and Steve Olson, Rapporteurs; National Academy of Engineering;
and the United States Institute of Peace titled, Adapting Agricultural Extension to Peacebuilding: Report of a Workshop by the National Academy of Engineering and the United States Institute of Peace:Roundtable on Technology, Science, and Peacebuilding (2012). The 62-page report is available free with a one-time registration. The report discusses extension services, a term used to convey technological information about agricultural knowledge to farmers and how this information can be used to promote peacebuilding processes.
