New Library Acquisitions - Week of September 24th

Featured Book: 

Jay Erskine Leutze, Stand Up That Mountain: The Battle to Save One Small Community in the Wilderness Along the Appalachian Trail (2012). This commentary tells the tale of the battle to prevent the dynamite destruction of Belview Mountain, a North Carolina peak that sits adjacent to the Appalachian Trail.  Enagagingly written, the author a graduate of a the University of North Carolina's law school at Chapel Hill is currently a Trustee for Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy.
